Based in San Francisco and reporting to Program Manager, you will be responsible for defining the project schedule, drive the day-to-day execution across multiple functional/organizational teams, apply risk & action management as necessary and ultimately help deliver projects to the committed deadlines.

This ideal candidate should clearly demonstrate an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams with distinct goals, a passion for leading and enthusiasm to drive new projects from definition phase through production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, with well-defined milestones and dependencies.
  • Manage and track schedules, issues, and negotiate priorities against project plans to ensure key internal and external deliverables are met.
  • Determine risks, develop mitigation strategies and communicate impacts.
  • Provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to stakeholders.
  • Lead and drive internal cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables and milestones.
  • Apply judgment in order to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required (or equivalent experience). MBA/Masters in Engineering or Computer Science is a plus.
  • 4+ years’ of progressive experience as a Program/Project Manager, Product Developer/Manager, Business Analyst/Architect, Development Lead/Developer, and/or Testing Lead/Tester.
  • 2+ years experience as an Agile Project Manager, Product Owner, and/or Scrum Master.
  • 2+ years of directly relevant experience in online and ecommerce space.
  • 1+ years hands-on experience as a user of JIRA/Atlassian and/or comparable tools (e.g., Rally, VersionOne, or CA Clarity Agile).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Visio, Project, and SharePoint required.
  • Working knowledge of Agile application lifecycle management and development tools.
  • PMP®, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and/or Certified Product Owner (CPO)

  • Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and delivering complex, cross-organizational, geographically scattered, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Outstanding written communication; analytical with problem-solving skills.
  • Highly skilled in the creation of PowerPoint presentations, presenting text, diagrams, and metrics in visually compelling ways with experience delivering at an executive level.
  • Highest attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill it in crisp, clear language.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
  • Highly effective facilitation skills in both small and large-group settings.
  • A highly collaborative, energetic team player with demonstrated ability to be flexible, diplomatic, persistent, and energetic.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, open to change, working in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
