Job Description
American Girl, located at the Natick Mall, is a Retail and Dining concept that provides greater
opportunities for American Girl fans to experience the brand in a fun and casual environment. Girls can
shop the boutique for their favorite American Girl books, dolls, and accessories and experience our
signature Doll Hair Salon. We're looking for dynamic individuals as Personal Shoppers who enjoy giving customers the highest level of personalized service and have the interpersonal skills to deliver our promise "To Celebrate Girls".

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for giving customers personalized Premium service through active listening,
anticipating needs and responding to special requests.
* Creating a positive experience for customers through effectively determining customer needs,
offering features and benefits, overcoming objections and successfully closing the sale.
* Maintains regular communication with clients via phone and written correspondence. Routinely
schedules appointments with clientele.
* Build a client base and foster client relationships by optimizing selling opportunities.
* Takes initiative to increase knowledge of total store products and services by touring the store
regularly and asking pertinent questions. Is knowledgeable of upcoming events and AG news,
and actively informs customers.
* Have the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes with the pace of the business and its
needs.
* Follows dress code presenting a professional appearance at all times.
* Possess the ability to work with a broad & diverse work force and customer base with a strong
affinity toward service & teamwork.

Experience, Education & Skills
Qualifications:

* Preferably have background in sales and experience in client development.
* Successful candidates would have high energy, organizational skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
* Good verbal and communications skills required, including computer skills.
* Must enjoy working with children.
* A minimum of 6 months to one year specialty retail and/or customer service experience.
