About this job

Purpose:

Provide prompt and friendly service to customers in a way that will exceed customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction. Follow procedures to prepare food products for customers. Maintain the highest level of product quality and cleanliness. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation area, storage areas, including interior and exterior of restaurant, equipment, and utensils.

Cleanliness

  • Makes sure customer areas (outside, restrooms, service, dining) are kept clean.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Completes all assigned cleaning duties.
  • Follows proper use of cleaning supplies.

Requirements

General Requirements:  Lift and move pots, racks, and food supplies.  Work in warm kitchen with hot equipment; in presence of flour and seasoning dust and oil.
 
  • Effective oral communication skills, basic math skills, ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment including ovens, fryer, cash register, mixer, Powersoak sink (must be 18 years of age or older to operate mixers.)
