Superintendent - Full-time / Part-time

Our client in the Orlando, FL area is looking for a superintendent to work in the Central Florida area. This candidate will be supervising 3 different projects over a 4 month time period. Superintendent will need experience working with Commercial Retail construction. Coordinating with and managing sub-contractors, tenant deliveries, dumpster swaps, and overseeing the project from start to completion.

Superintendent Duties:

* Keep accurate field notes and provide daily reports
* Evaluate plans, e-mails and jobsite conditions daily
* Conduct morning meetings with subs and supervisor outlining daily work to be performed and work from the previous day, via video conferencing.
* Be onsite on time and if any personnel is working on project
* Assist project manager or supervisor as required
* Organize and plan job with supervisor
* Organize, schedule, direct and evaluate personnel and subcontractors
* Field procurement
* Administrate and evaluate on-site hourly personnel
* Conduct safety meetings and prepare minutes
* Enforce all safety rules and procedures
* Secure site and work site at the close of each work day
* Maintain project discipline
* Provide immediate reports of any on-site changes or construction issues
