In this position you will be responsible for:

Responsible for developing/maintaining new/current business relationships and identifying potential sources of business. Increase market share by seeking out new relationships through sales events, trade shows, referrals, industry contacts, making warm/cold face-to-face sales calls, collaborating with sales/branch managers on sales strategies and developing plans to convert potential customers to ADI customers. Maintain current relationships by supporting/recommending customer service efforts, conducting follow up calls, profiling dealers, educating customers about new product lines and keeping abreast of new developments in the industry. Be able to proactively drive Market Intelligence gathering, uncovering growth opportunities in growth verticals, and deliver sales wins in these growth areas. Ensure positive relationships with branch managers/ inside sales staff/national accounts sales staff/manufacturer's representatives to encourage team sales and create priority service. Also participate in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs. Assist in implementing training in technology, products, sales skills, project registration and other as directed, in the sales force, and drive sales growth in your territory through these efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma Minimum of four (4) years sales experience.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

Strong verbal, written, organizational skills. Industry knowledge and sales and negotiation skills. Public speaking/training skills, team mentality and PC literacy also required. The incumbent must regularly travel to customer and branch sites. He/she is frequently required to walk, sit, drive and stand. The incumbent must be able to read, write, analyze and generate sales invoices, reports and documents. IP/network systems experience preferred. Public speaking/training skills. Team mentality and motivational skills. PC literacy, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
