Our client is currently seeking a TEMPORARY Operations Analyst for their company.

This is a 12 week contract position. Ideal for those not working.

The Operations Analyst (Supply Chain/Manufacturing) position will report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing & Quality. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting/pushing operational efficiency, productivity, development, ad hoc projects, for developing Key Performance Operational Indicators, statistical analysis and reports, implementing the distribution of the reports through dashboards, preparing and presenting ad hoc analysis, and validating transactional information.



Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of the annual goals and objectives of the company in order to provide the Manufacturing/Operations unit, departmental heads and the Executive Management Team with the operational performance criteria on which the success of the company is measured.

2. Work independently and within a team environment to facilitate the goals and objectives of the Manufacturing/Operations department and the Company under general supervision.

3. Drive cross-functional ad-hoc projects, which are both operational and system (ERP) related

4. Develop/support reporting for Manufacturing/Operational departments and Executive Management Team.

5. Create and maintain various analysis including department / operational and company performance.

6. Determine effectiveness of improvement programs including operational process changes.

7. Work with colleagues within the Operations team to ensure Manufacture/Operational procedures, monitoring and reporting are being developed and reported to Executive team and Head Quarter in Denmark.

8. Contribute to the analysis of the company's internal Manufacturing/Operational processes and procedures to ensure the smooth flow of information and correct procedures and controls are in place and complied with.

9. Interacting frequently with other departments within the Company.

10. Provide an Auditing function for reviewing KPI’s for process improvements

11. Responsible for extracting reporting data through AS400, and Microsoft CRM.

12. Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree

Operational / Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience is key

Experience in a business analyst role (Preferred if in an operational direction)

Experience with AS400, and COGNOS

Must be willing and able to adapt to changing environment and responsive to innovation, identifying areas for improvement, to support overall success of the business

Advanced Excel & Access skills necessary. Must be able to write macros, create uploads, pivot tables, and charts

Effective communicator both verbally and in writing

Must be able to work with large amounts of data and create ad hoc analysis to support management’s needs

Must be detail oriented individual with ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet rigid deadlines – time management skills critical
