Job Summary Currently seeking a Property Preservation Specialist to coordinate property field inspections, property preservation, and communication between Client, staff and vendors regarding property condition. Essential Functions 1.Retrieve daily reports from internal sources and Vendor website, and take appropriate action based on information provided. 2.Review, analyze and approve bids, and order property preservation work as necessary. 3.Review property preservation invoices to ensure charges are accurate. Research issues relating to invoices, and request refunds from Vendor when appropriate. 4.Manually order property inspections; as well as RUSH preservation/emergency work as necessary. 5.Serve as liaison between internal departments and Property Preservation Vendor. 6.Advise appropriate groups of vacant properties or maintenance issues, and take appropriate action to secure and preserve the property. 7.Resolve issues and questions related to property inspections or preservation work. 8.Notify internal departments and external Insurance Vendors of potentially claimable property damage. Coordinate with these groups to determine if an Insurance Claim should be filed. 9.Ensure Inspectors and Contractors are able to gain access to vacant properties. 10.Research vacant land issues, notify appropriate departments, and coordinate with those groups to ensure all necessary tasks are completed. 11.Notify Valuations Department of vacant properties. Assist Brokers, BPO Providers or Appraisers in the valuation of vacant assets. 12.Coordinate with various cities to manage and resolve city code violations, and take appropriate action to prevent future violations. Minimum Qualifications 1.High School Diploma or equivalent. 2.3-5 years of experience in the construction, real estate, mortgage servicing, code compliance fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3.Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook. **Knowledge of industry mortgage servicing practices and procedures a plus!** We reward top talent like you by offering medical/dental/life/vision benefits, highly competitive pay, career stability, and incentive bonuses.
