This position is on the Global Service Management Process Integration & Development team. This is part of the SIAM Operations team in the Global Technology Services organization. The role reports to the Senior Manager, GSM Process Integration & Development.

The Service Management Sr. Developer role is strategically partnered with the Global Service Manager Business Analysts and Global Application Architect with the primary responsibility for developing and ensuring all new/existing technical solutions accurately reflect the requirements provided by the GSM Business Analyst and the GSM user community. The GSM Developer will develop technical expertise for the PepsiCo Service Management technologies and be able to build new capabilities that support internal and external integrations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an outstanding can do attitude and work ethic, while meeting deliverable deadlines and 'owning' pieces of the project that are assigned. This individual will also be an excellent communicator with ability to clearly and concisely identify, escalate, and articulate issues to GSM management when required.

Accountabilities to include:

Design and develop high quality, well tested production code.

Work with business analysts, process leads, and end users to resolve bugs, performance issues, and gaps in requirements.

Collaborate with other development teams to ensure full integration of all system components.

Provides high quality documentation, release notes and root cause analysis, where required, meeting PepsiCo development standards.

Participates in discussions and implementation of software support for new hardware, firmware, and features associated with enhancements of the Global Service Management solution.

Applies industry-standard design, coding, debugging, and testing best practices.

Participates in SCRUM and Kanban activities.

Mentors junior team members.

Develop and implement HP Service Manager enhancements based on requirements provided by business analyst and internal continuous improvement initiatives.

Configuration, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting the E-Bonding solution and other technical integrations (i.e.: BT, SAP, etc.).

Implementation of strong information security controls & protocols.

GSM cross-module development such as email notifications, inbound email, auto close.

Configuration, testing, deployment, and technical support for ESM (Enterprise Service Manager) Solution.

Resolving incidents and request assigned to the technical development team.

Developing technical design documentation and maintaining source code repository for new and modified capabilities.

Participate in GSM Peer Reviews to raise the overall technical capabilities and understanding of GSM Development, Data Management, Architect and Business Analysts teams

Candidate can be located in any of the following locations: Minneapolis, MN or St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or other related field

5-6 years in a software development technical-related role

Solid knowledge of multi-core architecture and Linux I/O

Development experience with file systems and/or database storage

Demonstrated expert level understanding of at least 2 programming languages (C, C#, C++, Java, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of HP Service Manager is preferred.

Knowledge of ITIL best practices is preferred.

Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology is preferred

Experienced development capabilities using Java based on requirements and/or design documentation is preferred.
