Do you have consultative nursing management skills?
Performs all RN and Lead RN functions. Handles escalation of RN issues and provides assistance in new protocols. Interfaces with hospital clients as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Utilizes clinical expertise and approved protocols to provide health advice to consumers with clinical questions and makes referrals for health services as appropriate via telephone and performs all components of call processing
* Ensures performance standards are met and accepts constructive feedback
* Speaks with a pleasant, professional phone voice and provides superior customer service to internal and external customers; works collaboratively with medical device vendors, facility personnel, and physicians in planning and providing care to the patient
* Documents calls in applicable system in a timely and accurate manner and as prescribed by current standards and policies; maintains confidentiality
* Communicates appropriately and clearly with departmental management, co-workers and callers and exhibits willingness to master new work routines and methods
* Practices and adheres to "Code of Conduct" and "Mission and Value Statement"
* Provides care/education to patients and their families that reflects the cultural, spiritual, intellectual/educational, and psychosocial differences of individual patients, families, or communities, and preserves patient's autonomy, dignity and rights.
* Maintains and contributes to a professional and ethical work environment and actively participates in team meetings and engages in the processes of the contact center
* Participates in the selection and review of the decision support tools/processes as they relate to telehealth nursing practice and improving quality and performance. These are the processes used to direct care by members of the telehealth team.
* Assists with selection, training, mentoring, and reviewing of Lead and RNs and ensures RNs are trained and performance is at or above service standards

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Required RN licensure in state of residence required, others may be required based on business need 3 years nursing experience 3 years nursing management experience preferred
