Responsibilities:
· Receive projects from the Quality and Safety manager.
· Attend meetings to determine corrective actions for quality and safety problems found with production equipment.
· Perform continuous improvements to production machines focused on quality and safety.
· Implement smart cameras to test for various defects.
· Provide timing estimations for down time.
· Purchase needed components as well as maintain budgets for large improvements.
· Provide training in regard to machine improvements.
· Document improvements made to production equipment.
· Do efficiency studies on running equipment, report possible improvements that would increase production rates.

Overview:
Provides technical support and programming for
manufacturing system design and modifications.
Responsibilities:
Supports Equipment programming
Programs inputs/outputs of robots
Maintain support and programming of Fanuc Robots
Trouble shoots software and hardware issues
Load software packages
Project documentation
Project training
Develop and Install Vision systems
Develop system upgrades
Program PLC
Read, interpret and apply from electrical schematic drawings

Requirements:
· Minimum BSEE or equivalent.
· Must understand and be able to implement changes to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
· Experience as required to meet responsibilities with minimal detailed supervision. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of electrical, safety, labeling, and sensing devices.


· Robot Programming experience (Motoman, Fanuc, Staubli, etc.) · PLC Programming experience, preferably with Allen Bradley.
· General CAD experience.
· Must be a self-starter, organized and dedicated, with good record keeping skills.
· Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to accept and cope with restrictive time frames and unpredictable situations.
