OVERVIEW:
Culinary Services Group is quickly becoming a food service solutions leader within the contract food service market. Working as a Cook Supervisor for Culinary Services Group, you will be surrounded by people who are passionate about food and the community they represent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for the production, preparation and cooking of hot & cold foods including soups, sauces, salads, specials, entrees, catering and other food items as determined by the Supervisor. Portion meals using appropriate measuring tools, garnish food and oversee the distribution of food leaving the kitchen. Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate & store deliveries into appropriate refrigeration, freezer & store rooms. Follow all outlined Company, State, Federal and other applicable health and safety regulations with regard to food service, equipment use and personal hygiene. Maintain a clean & safe work area, monitor the flow of food and fulfill the HAACP policies & procedures. Responsible for the direct supervision of shift personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant culinary / kitchen supervisory experience required
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public
Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
Serv Safe required within 60 days of employment
Must have a clean and neat appearance
Must have the ability to work a variety of shifts and a variety of schedules
Background Check and Drug Test required for employment
