Entertainment Stage Technician- Part-Time, Walt Disney World

Responsibilities Walt Disney Entertainment is seeking Stage Technicians for live entertainment throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts with experience in one or more of the following areas: Audio, Lighting, Staging, Rigging, Video/Projection, or Pyrotechnics. Cast Members receive Theme Park admission and discounts at select dining, merchandise and recreation locations.

These part-time opportunities require full availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Basic Qualifications Proven technical experience in live entertainment in at least one of the following disciplines: Audio, Lighting, Staging, Rigging, Video/Projection, or Pyrotechnics. Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment for theatrical and live entertainment venues. Proven working knowledge of theatrical terminology and documentation. Ability to work in an active environment, inclement or extreme weather conditions. Ability to adapt to a physically demanding role that encompasses frequent lifting, climbing, squatting, and standing for long periods of time. Part-time positions require full availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Valid U.S. driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent Advanced Computer Skills Production Planning Experience Leadership Experience Experience Operating Scissor Lifts, Forklifts, Etc.
