Global Logistics Coordinator
As a Global Logistic Coordinator you will also act as the liaison between client, carrier, shipper, and receiver while managing the movement of the client’s goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported and delivered on time to meet or exceed the client’s expectations. Our client is seeking candidates that have the ability to learn quickly, self-motivated and eager to succeed. The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work the first or second shift, as well as overtime and weekends. This is a direct hire position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate designated carrier-to-customer pick-up with time of pick-up, delivery, and special instructions as directed by the customer
* Book clients requests from email and arrange client’s delivery requests
* Secure adequate capacity for freight booked
* Responsible for decisions and implementation of pick-up and delivery to ensure customer requirements are met
* Responsible for handling questions concerning shipping costs or service rendered on capacity side
