Inside Sales Representative (Portsmouth, NH) Great opportunity for a experienced and career-minded Inside Sales Representative! Job Summary: Sell existing or introduce new products and services to established customers as a first priority; track and follow-up on new leads secondarily. Handle Customer order requests, quotations, and lead time requests. Handle project execution actions and overall coordination between Customer Service and Direct (Outside) Sales Account Management. Customer-centric position with clear objective of growing Sales. Talent/Success Factors: *High energy, results oriented, hard driving, self-directed with an ability to establish rapport with others. *Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. *A self-starter. Main Responsibilities: Retention: *Develop with Sales Leader a target list of existing or previous significant/strategic customers and ensure we retain, or win-back, target accounts meeting or exceeding monthly goals. New Business: *Develop and accomplish a lead generation plan. Maintain and expand the database of prospects. *Identify decision makers amongst targeted calls in order to start the sales process. *Cooperate with Sales Account Management and Leadership to develop strategic approaches to win sales. *Create, develop, and deliver qualified opportunities to Sales Account Management where defined. *Capture and maintain accurate and complete customer information in Sales database. *Handle sales order changes and communicate the changes to appropriate departments. *Collate and consolidate monthly sales performance reports. *Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes. Skills and Specifications: *Highly organized, effective time management and follow-up skills. A deal closer! *Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills that include ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. *Goal oriented and customer centric. *Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment. *Excellent telephone sales personality skills. *Excellent time management skills, highly energetic, self-starter. *Good decision making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills. *Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities. *Honest, assertive, systematic. Education and Qualifications: *Proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. *Relevant training or experience in Inside Sales and/or Customer Support preferred. *Experience selling capital equipment and relevant aftermarket products and services is ideal.
