As an IT professional you have expert knowledge in multiple cutting edge technologies. Because of your excellent understanding of the IT project life cycle, you have the ability to direct project teams in the discovery, design, and development of complex applications & infrastructures to support those applications. You get to work closely with and learn from the brightest minds to ensure proper system/solution design and implementation. Your role ensures highest quality implementations from design through quality assurance to production. Our IT professionals support multiple team members and other project leads in day-to-day activities related to project work.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
  • Design/Develop Application Solutions for packaging and deployments utilizing SCCM 2007/20012
  • Design/ Engineer Application MSI's, EXE's and Utilities for Windows enterprise application installation utilizing Install Shield, VBScript, PowerShell scripting, Batch scripting Etc.
  • Expertise with configuration management (Puppet, Chef) and Linux Container (docker)
  • Cross Platform Packaging Experience (Windows/Linux/Unix)
  • Research/Troubleshoot application or infrastructure opportunities and provide automated solutions to permanently address and/or remediate
  • Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures on small large scale projects with varying degrees of complexity
  • Contribute to software installer packaging processes and process standards
  • Interface with Business stakeholders on all applicable projects. Update manager on all escalated issues.

Position reports to the Manager, Information Services

EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 04

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information system or equivalent
  • Strong Work Ethic, attention to detail with a keen focus on customer service
  • Process Automation Experience (SCCM Orchestrator, SCORCH, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of system administration/ infrastructure engineering experience within an enterprise environment
  • Strong analytical & technical problem solving skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Experience with SCCM2007 R2 & SCCM 2012 Architecture, Infrastructure, design, troubleshooting, development
  • Understanding and experience with Advertisements/Collections/Packages/etc. within said products.
  • Experience with Issue investigation and deep root cause analysis
  • Experience in deploying packages/updates in SCCM 2007 & SCCM 2012
  • Development and Scripting Experience (PowerShell, VB Script, WMI, Batch Files)
  • Strong Working expertise within Windows Enterprise Computing Environments
    (Win7, Win8.1, SCCM 2012, SCOM, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
  • Experience with process/procedure improvement and solution development, documentation, implementation.
  • Must be available on-call 24/7 with proven ability to work independently to research and develop solutions to new problems.
  • Ability to prioritize work activity and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in Retail Industry
  • Experience in Enterprise computing environments
Preferred Certifications: MCSE ITIL
