Position summaryT-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital Global System for Mobile Communications/General Packet Radio Service (GSM/GPRS) wireless voice and data technology standards. Project Managers, Web located in Bellevue, WA coordinate and monitor technical projects from initiation through delivery and serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams in the development of T-Mobile enterprise wide systems, system applications, network, and telecommunication or product devices. This is an individual contributor role responsible for coordinating mid-sized projects, utilizing standard project management methodologies, process and procedures. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications and requirements for system changes, ensuring alignment with enterprise and departmental business needs and strategies.
  • Prioritize projects, set timelines, identify and assign resources, and manage schedules and budgets to requirements.
  • Use data, research and test results to drive decisions and set priorities.
  • Communicate with leadership, cross-functional teams, technical partners, and other stakeholders to develop relationships, define objectives, set expectations, understand customer experience, identify unmet needs, develop and implement solutions, provide project updates, report on variances, and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Identify, investigate, and recommend plans for meeting business objectives, resolving system issues, and optimizing user experience.
  • Insure that deliverables are aligned with requirements, and that solutions are usable across mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.


Functional and technical skill requirements:
  • Experience (1) gathering, interpreting, documenting and prioritizing requirements via process flows, use cases, functional wireframe/design annotations or other project artifacts.
  • Experience (2) taking an experience defined at a high level by the Business Owner and guiding a project team to create functional capabilities.
  • Experience (3) using competitive research, industry best practice or industry trends to improve a website or online tool with a telecommunications, mass media company or digital agency while acting as the lead customer advocate and driving new functionality and enhancements.
  • Experience (4) managing projects utilizing Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile.
  • Experience (5) utilizing Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, One-Note, PowerPoint, Visio, Snag-it and Digital Analytics tools.
Experience and education requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business & Management, Marketing, Computer Science & Information Systems, Information Technology, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field or the foreign equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience.
