Job Location: Phoenix, AZ

Responsible for creation and ongoing maintenance of accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for department business processes. Is expected to interpret data, provide insightful analysis, and highlight areas of opportunity for the business. A Sr. Analyst should have advanced working knowledge of SQL and BI software tools and have a basic understanding of programming languages. A Sr. Analyst is responsible for presenting data and analysis to the business in a way that is clear and easy to understand for their customer. They are expected to come up with innovative solutions to provide accurate and meaningful reports to management and continue to refine the overall direction of department reporting.
Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
(30%) Develop complex Access databases, SQL queries and VBA projects for department and center reports and scorecards(30%) Analysis of daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for trends and anomalies. Calibrate with leadership teams regarding processes, trends, anomalies, reports and projects. (Support project management)(20%) Manage databases and ensure data integrity(10%) Perform ADHOC reports/projects upon request(5%) Prepare presentations as needed and communicate and train new processes as appropriate(5%) Create, maintain, make improvements to daily/weekly/monthly reports for Senior Management

Qualifications

Education*: High School diploma or GEDMinimum Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in a reporting or analytical role. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, excellent communication, and decision-making skills are required. Demonstrated heightened level of proficiency in all aspects of the technical and analytical processes.PC Skills/Knowledge: Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL , VBA, Tableau, and all Microsoft applications; including Access, Excel, Power Point, Visual. Beginner skills / knowledge of Teradata and SSRS/SSISTask Complexity: Duties & tasks reflect sustained variety & complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource in resolution of complex problems & issues. Specialized area of duties, involving widely complex and varied problems or situationsDecision Making: Demonstrates independent judgment on complex issues, possesses enhanced analytical skills in decision making and problem solving. Ability to independently solve intricate issues.Problem Solving: Generally wide latitude for decision making, takes a broad perspective to solving problems, spots new, less obvious solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent & proven organizational skills; excellent oral & written communication skills; demonstrated leadership ability; interpersonal skills.
