About this job
Responsible for non-medical, in-home client support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients. Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment.
*Personal Care/A.D.L.s assistance with feeding, dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting/incontinence
*Light housekeeping, laundry, errands/appointments
*Meal planning/preparation, cleanup
*Medication reminders, doctors appointments, monitoring vitals
*Socialization, monitoring cognitive status, interacting with and engaging clients in activities/hobbies
Qualifications:
*Looking for FLEXIBLE schedules: Part-time; Hourly (day, evening, overnight, weekends) & Live-Ins (24-hour shifts; 1-5 consecutive days in the clients home).
*Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
*Must have reliable transportation with valid Drivers License and auto insurance
*Meet requirements for motor vehicle driving record check
*Background check required
*Professional/personal references
*CPR certified a plus
*Some experience necessary, preferably a minimum of 6 months aEUR" skills & training provided by Absolute Home Care Plus. This position would be ideal for C.N.A, H.H.A, Companions, Homemakers & Retirees.
