Senior Software Controls Engineer
Electrical:
Develop software design specifications
Interpret mechanical and electrical design drawings for sofware requirements
Help maintain existing standards and establish new standards as required
Commission electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications
Work with sales engineers to provide input with quote preparation as required
Software:
Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications
PLC, C# and Database programming and debugging (Allen Bradley, Siemens or other PLC Derivatives)
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming: Ladder Diagram programming
Write user manuals to communicate functionality of company developed programs
Other:
Assembly and test of automated components and sub-components
Willingness to work weedends, overtime and travel up to 80% of the time
