Conference Services Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Sodexo has an exciting position for a Conference Services Manager for a Conference Center located in Valley Forge PA . This position offers the ideal candidate an opportunity to expand on an established base business. Here you will market, sell, and oversee the operations for all conferences, retreats, camps and meetings. The Conference Services manager will be charged with increasing sales at this account. This is a fee account and the Manager will oversee a team of 12+ employees.

Idea candidate must possess strong management skills in a conference services area; sales experience, strong customer relations skills with the ability to handle multiple events for all level customers; strong written and verbal communication skills required; attention to detail as all events have a high standard client expectation level.

Some events could require early morning and/or late evening and weekend support.

Position Summary

Overall day-to-day responsibility for provision of food services within a conference center. Also coordinates scheduling and set-up of conference rooms. Serves as liaison to catering managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
