About this job

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the kitchen area of the restaurant. This will include: hiring and managing staff, plan food prep and assign tasks, training proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques. This person must ensure that the company's standards are upheld: the food has appealing appearance, and is properly cooked, to optimize the customer's dining experience. This candidate must make sure that the kitchen is properly cleaned on a regular schedule, food is dated, and disposed of properly, and the kitchen meets all sanitary standards.
