The Director Data Release Governance (DRG) is responsible for the strategic and tactical operation of the enterprise Data Release Governance program. The program is governed under the enterprise Information Risk Management department and reports into the Business Information Security Officer. The DRG program is accountable for facilitating the process that controls the release of data from the business.
In this role, the Director will oversee a team of subject matter experts that support the DRG process across the enterprise. The team serves as a central point of contact for ensuring that any release of data meets the necessary controls and satisfies internal policy compliance.

- Understanding of business risks and business objectives with perception of the IS risks that are inherent to a business
- Demonstrates executive presence and has excellent communication and client relationship management skills with senior management on issues and key risks to the business (presentations, executive summaries, etc.)

- Ability to negotiate and influence without authority
- Is solution oriented and has the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize daily and anticipate requirements and changing needs

- Make quality, data-driven recommendations and decisions following discovery, root cause analysis, verification, etc.
- Experience managing a quality assurance process or environment
- Proven management experience
- Accomplished in developing formal action plans and can evaluate activities and responses against key requirements and plan milestones
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience working directly with business and corporate leadership providing consultation, assessing risks, and collaborating on problem solving
- 5 or more years of information security experience in a large, highly-regulated enterprise environment
- 5 or more years of project management experience
- Experience with interpretation and application of policy and standards
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience applying financial knowledge to influence forecasting and financial planning activities
- Prior experience with vendor assessments, enterprises sourcing and procurement, business oversight teams.
- Experienced in providing leadership and governance in a collaborative environment.
- Manage and ensure compliance with IT structures, processes and technologies.
- Health care industry experience
- Project Management certification
