General Summary:
This person contributes to Pepsi Beverages Co.'s success by performing period and quarterly closing processes for Full Service and Full Line Vending operations across the US Bottling Field locations. This includes providing support to local teams and management by preparing period end close entries, performing low risk account reconciliations. Will also assist in analyzing the vending financial results and ensuring a timely close.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Field Financial Reporting:
Contribute to period, quarter and annual closing of the financial statements as it relates to vending operations
Prepare less complex period end journal entries including BTP, account rec cleanup, and other vending related JE's.
Monitor the team's Spa Box and ensure questions and requests are addressed timely.
Support other team members with periodic checks to ensure accuracy for all vending related entries and feeds.
Prepare account reconciliations and for vending related activity for both FLV and Total PBC Field. Focus will be low risk recs, and none of which are high risk.
Prepare bank reconciliations for FLV locations.
Document all vending processes, key controls, and desk procedures
Serve as a back fill to perform tasks required of other team members in the event of their absence.
Additional Support Tasks and Key Responsibilities:
Support manager on special projects, questions from the field, and other requests.
Aid in building account analytics and process improvement ideas.
Basic Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-Task
Ability to work independently, as well as in group dynamic
