About this job
The Electrical Technician is responsible for working with IT to ensure communications between production equipment and company servers. They will also be responsible for all PLC, HMI and Robot programming issues after Maintenance electricians have been unable to resolve the issue. ETs also work on equipment improvement and installation projects where they will support work on a team with other engineers (ME, IE, etc.).
-BSEE preferred, Associates in Controls, automation or electrical required.
-Siemens S7 knowledge with ability to program from scratch.
-ABB Programming
-5 years of experience working in an automated manufacturing setting performing similar tasks.
Shift: Monday - Friday from 7am to 4:30pm. Will require on-call time but much of the work can be performed from home on company issued laptops.
