Requirements
ABC Moving Services, Inc. is a full service commercial moving and storage company servicing the Boston area's largest companies, hospitals, universities, and professional firms. We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager for our Somerville location to learn all aspects of our moving and storage operations.
The job duties consist of:
a) Dispatching / Operations:
- Assist with the preparation of daily job documentation
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly crew assignments
- Troubleshooting, planning and problem solving with the Operations team
This position requires the following skill set:
a) Profile:
- Strong communication and personal management skills
- Mature, motivated, and career oriented
b) Customer Service:
- Interaction with clients in scheduling and progression of daily jobs
- Follow-up with clients pertaining to satisfaction of work
c) Computers:
- Basic typing skills
- Excel
- Microsoft Word
d) Education:
- College degree preferred
This position comes with the following compensation and benefit package:
a) Wage/Benefits:
- Starting salary: $42K (with review after 6 months)
- 100% company paid health, dental, disability, and life insurance; after probationary period
- Vacation, Sick and Personal time off
