This is a temp to permanent opportunity for a minimum of 40 hours/wk
Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm w/overtime
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for all activities associated with setup, operation, and cleanup of machines.
Reviews job tickets, print cards, and quality inspection paperwork
Review blue prints, job orders
Operates the machinery at available capacity and speed.
Cross trains and assist with other job duties like punch press, de-burrer...
Completes necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner. Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
Must be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
Switches duties as necessary.
Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.
Reports any issues to Supervisor
Adherence to company safety and attendance policies
1. Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
2. Operate various production equipment.
3. Use measuring instruments; calipers, scales and ruler to inspect product quality.
4. Fill out written production reports.
5. Sort boards in end board sorting area.
6. Perform various duties as assigned.
7. Report all activities to supervisor.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma, GED, HSED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Understand and utilize basic math skills, including decimals, fractions and reading measurements
3. Experience using a caliper, scale or other related measuring equipment
4. Basic reading and writing skills
5. Willingness to become forklift certified
6. Willing to work overtime
7. Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and positive work attitude
8. Communicate effectively with various internal personnel, follow instructions, and work independently
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or Tool & Die Apprentices; or 2 years related experience and/or training. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or similar industry experience preferred.
