Senior Business Analyst - Phoenix, AZ or Pittsburgh, PA

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and document/communicate business requirements


• Consult with business departments to identify requirements


• Develop and document medium to high complexity business workflows


• Analyze scope and resolution of medium to large size Operations Management (OM) and development requests


• Provide clear description of problems / issues for medium to high complexity problems


• Present options for problem resolution


• Contribute in developing organizational functional knowledge


• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in his/her chosen functional / application area


• Assist in estimation of small to medium size work effort


• Establish and manage overall project plans for small to medium size efforts


• Evaluate system changes for downstream system and/or organizational impacts


• Prioritize and track all issues to resolution


• Escalate issues to the Project Manager as appropriate


• Provide agendas and follow up with meeting minutes

Required Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of Business Analysis experience with gathering requirements for enhancements, interfaces, data mapping. i.e., experience in using requirements gathering tools and processes, capturing business/interface workflows


• 2 or more years of Business Requirements experience including producing and executing Business User Acceptance Test scripts derived from process gap analysis, business data mapping definitions, business requirement definitions.


• 2 or more years of health insurance experience


• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years experience or Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medicare or Medicaid experience


• System implementation and migration experience


• Project leadership experience


• 1+years TriZetto Facet 4.xx (or higher) relational database back-end processing experience.


• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)


• 2+ years SQL experience
