Sales Channel Training meets the training needs of our internal and external audiences by producing and delivering print, online, video, and instructor led training. Our primary topics range from sales and marketing to new technology and operations. 

A successful Instructional Designer/Developer will have the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Marketing, Communications, Writing, or Business and related fields
  • Experience designing and developing training materials for adult learners, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise explanations of complex concepts and engaging course content for a diverse audience of professionals
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong instinct for visual layout and graphic design principles
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail, including strong editing skills
  • Experience in e-learning tools and multimedia; Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Captivate, Lectora, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Adobe software preferred

 

The Instructional Designer/Developer will design and develop e-learning curriculum for internal and external training programs. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to quickly research and learn new information, and translate that information into interactive, engaging, and relevant training materials in multiple mediums for the target audience.

  • Design, develop, and maintain e-learning curriculum
  • Work in a variety of mediums – including computer-based, print, and video – to develop materials that are appealing and useful for your target audience
  • Research, interview, and collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers
  • Strive for a balance of form and function in your products
  • De-mystify complex ideas, software, and skills through engaging content
  • Identify your audience’s objectives and goals, and build tools that help them succeed in their role
