Warehouse Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Great Client in Walton KY seeking 3-4 warehouse associates to assist with their expanding business. These are temp to hire positions, potential direct hire for strong candidates. Company has very good benefits when hired on.

Pay starts at $11/hr., first shift running 7:00a-3:30p.





POSITION SUMMARY: Performs accurate movement of material within the warehouse both manually and using material handling equipment. Processes inventory transactions using barcode scanning equipment.



PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for the movement of material to/from stock locations/areas within the warehouse.

Pulls work orders for the production department and transfers completed work orders to the warehouse.

Moves received product from the receiving dock to stocking locations.

Responsible for accurately picking material from a stock location for shipment.

Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment which includes forklifts, hand trucks, and the like.

Uses computer and handheld radio frequency scanner to record inventory transactions. Maintains good housekeeping within the work area and reports any unsafe condition to supervisor.

Unscheduled daily overtime as well as weekly overtime is required.

Other duties as assigned.

PERIODIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in taking inventories or cycle counts as required. Performs other duties as directed by lead person or supervisor.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be able to safely operate a forklift truck. Good mathematical ability. Good memory and number retention. Must have good attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. Ability to use/learn keyboard and scanners in

relation to input for warehouse activity. Experience in operation of small hand tools, and material handling equipment (forklifts, skids, pallet jacks, etc.).
