You will be empowered to do your best by leading highly complex operational projects throughout the organization! Are you a born leader and subject matter expert in project management, RFPs, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation? Can you Lead strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups. As a Project Manager in our IT organization you will complete projects, define performance and results, and mange vendors and service providers. This role will require travel around 25% to external customers. Travel will be out of state and might be higher during project kick-offs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  
• Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams from various parts of IT and the Business
  
• Respond to client proposals with quick turn around and tight deadlines
  
• Write project proposals and deliver to C level audience
  
• Predict emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
  
• Participate in the development of business strategy
  
• Price and Solution IT requests from large clients both private and public sector
  
• Develop and manages business plans to achieve objectives
  
• Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  
• Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  
• Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches

Required Qualifications:

• Willing to travel a minimum of 25% of the time (possibly up to 50% at times)
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  
• 7+ years of Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment (Fortune 200)
  
• Experience with Technology both distributed technologies & architecture
  
• 2+ years of writing and/or responding to client RFPs and creating end result client presentations
  
• 3+ years of solid analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills
  
• Successful track record of delivering programs on scope, on time, on budget
  
• 3+ years of proven experience interfacing and presenting to C-level partners (ability to communicate technology matters to business partners, senior executives, and strategic partners)
  
• 3+ years of budget tracking and complex cost-benefit analysis including creation of preliminary and final project cost estimates

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare insurance or clinical background
  
• Experience responding to RFPs
  
• Public sector government knowledge beneficial (state or federal)
  
• Prior experience working for a professional services consulting firm 
  
• Prior experience in an external client facing role
  
• PMP Certification or exposure to multiple PM methodologies
  
• Process implementation & re-engineering
  
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar
