The Implementation Manager is accountable for driving successful project implementation, under the leadership and guidance of an Implementation Leader. They achieve this through leadership of the project team to achieve key deliverables, and solution and operationalize customer requirements.



The Implementation Managers within the Intake and Framework team work with the Implementation Leaders, Managers and Directors on the intake and project/requirement definition of implementation projects. They are accountable for project intake and assessment, resource planning and scheduling, proforma and resource estimation.  They work closely with key stakeholders to understand and operationalize project requirements.  They collaborate with the BAR team to ensure that requirements are documented and vetted with the appropriate functions to ensure adherence to commitments.  They oversee establishing metrics and initial documentation for a new project before turning it over to Implementation Leaders. Additionally, they are accountable for the general implementation strategy, framework and tools, general reporting and communication, training and onboarding, process improvements and developing and implementing best practices.


 


Primary Responsibilities:




  • Read, understand and assess RFP responses and materials, with the goal of identifying and documenting operational implications


  • Accurately assess and interpret customer needs and requirements



  • Drive progress of project across numerous stakeholders and project teams



  • Create and manage project plans, risk trackers, and other standard project management documentation



  • Solve complex problems and/or conducts complex analyses based on data and facts



  • Drive resolution of issues and risks



  • Effectively lead meetings with cross functional partners to achieve decision making and action



  • Define and document business requirements and process flows



  • Proactively anticipate issues and facilitate resolution



  • Hold teams accountable and effectively manage through influence to drive results



  • Presentations and updates to senior leadership on project status and issues



  • Drive solutioning and problem solving across numerous functional areas



  • Providing additional support in the above areas



  • Setting up tools and documentation for project kick-off



  • Coordination and completion of project plan updates from functional leads



  • Meeting notes, tracking down follow-ups



  • Coordinating across stakeholders including tracking follow ups, troubleshooting issues, escalating non responders, tracking progress



  • Assist in obtaining needed information from Intersegment/National Medical Vendors for RFP Responses/Growth opportunities & providing input to RFP writers for subcontractor questions



  • Manage Implementation of Intersegment/National Medical Vendors in conjunction with Health Plan & Functional Leads



  • Support the National Medical Vendor Oversight model by ensuring that adequate Medical Vendor oversight activities are in place and adequately functioning for all C&S Health Plans and Medical Vendors



  • Build & maintain strong working relationships with medical vendors, both internal and external











Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • 3+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of project implementation experience

  • 1+ year of interpreting contractual requirements

  • 1+ years of proven success working in a matrix environment

  • Proficiency with MS Office including Project, One Note, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong Understanding of healthcare industry, Medicaid operational and regulatory expectations

  • Proven ability to quickly gain credibility, influence and partner with business leaders and the human capital community

  • Experience developing, applying and deploying processes, templates and standards
