The Manager, Digital & Advanced TV Analysis will play a critical role in leveraging DISH set-top box, OTT and digital data to drive new business, build agency data relationships, and optimize reporting.  This person will report to the GM, Advanced TV within DISH Media Sales and build the digital measurement team from the ground up.  He/she must fully understand set-top box data, digital measurement products and capabilities. Analysis and research for new technology and further growth within OTT, digital, interactive and advanced TV space will be required.  

A successful Manager of Digital and Advanced TV Analytics will have or be the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university or college and 4+ years of digital and/or television data analytics and/or research experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and must be detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience and/or familiarity working with Digital and Set-top box data is a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and execute under aggressive timelines. Thrive in a start-up environment and be ready to hit the ground running. 
  • Understanding of new media, social media, TV Everywhere, over the top programming and digital convergence.

Responsibilities include building a research team to acquire new and secure existing advanced TV, OTT and digital clients.  This person will analyze set-top box, OTT, digital and online data to provide; campaign results to clients, optimization plans, storytelling through results and identify further trends.  Additionally, this person may accompany sales executives on client meetings and calls.

 

  • Create, develop processes and manage the digital measurement team consisting of Sling TV, DISH Anywhere and DISH set-top box data.
  • Work alongside DISH data providers on producing post-campaign reporting for OTT and Advanced TV campaigns. Provide key findings and trending information within campaigns and deliver results to DISH Media Sales teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with Sling TV and digital engineering teams on measurement product integration and development.
  • Develop relationships with agency and brand data specialists to leverage DISH’s data capabilities.
  • Research client/brand goals, initiatives and objectives. Accompany DISH personnel on sales calls, when applicable.
  • Prepare research presentations and case studies on Sling TV, Dish Anywhere, Interactive and Advanced TV to help secure new business.
