Registered Dietitian - Wellness Coach - Full-time / Part-time

Compensation: $75K Annual Earnings potential comprised of Base Assessment Fees plus commission on nutraceutical product sales and services. Additional compensation potential from conducting webinars and writing content for webcasts.
Prana Essentials' mission is to promote and enable patient wellness management through medical practitioners, corporations and directly to individuals. Prana provides the enabling technologies and products to accomplish ongoing, successful wellness management in both patients with chronic conditions and individuals with a desire for optimal health.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Dietitian with the skills to support and educate Prana's physician clients and their patients on healthy lifestyle modifications using Prana's unique Nutritional Assessment and Monitoring expert system. Our proprietary software system is based on recommendations that are dynamically derived from a specialized database and algorithms of scientifically recognized, published, peer reviewed and carefully screened clinical studies and research.
Prana is seeking dietitians to support our physician clients in growing their wellness practices. This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated, talented individuals to join us as we help to transform the practice of medicine to one of wellness in our rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Job Description:
* Nutritional/lifestyle wellness counseling in person and/or counseling by phone.
* Broad understanding of dietetic principles and an ability to apply skills to patients of all age groups.
* Creation and maintenance of clinical patient notes.
* Accurate review of patient medical history and identification of health risk information.
* Promotion/sales Prana's personalized wellness programs and products to patients through doctors' practices.
* Implementation of webinars and forums on various wellness topics.
* Development of podcasts and newsletters for Prana website.
* Presentation of and participation in doctor workshops.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with limited direct supervision.
* Communication with doctor to ensure comprehensive care of patient.
* Work from own/suitable home office.
* Overall working hours flexible, however, required to have availability during patient preferred assessment times - typically 2 evenings per week (6:00pm to 8:00pm and 2 Saturday mornings per month (9:00am to 12:00pm)
* Occasional local travel may be required (less than 10%).
Qualifications (Required):
* Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic
* Registration (CDR) with a minimum 3 years' experience in wellness/nutrition counseling.
* Must have a state license.
* Experience in marketing and selling nutraceutical products.
* Strong presentation and documentation skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
* Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
* Have suitable office/home office and high speed internet connection
