Business Title: Billing Analyst, Media Sales
PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Billing liaison between customers and Time Warner Cable Media offices. Responsible for daily financial operational processes including but not limited to cash application, monthly billing, client adjustments and billing cycle process review. Ensures compliance of billing requirements and the reconciliation of customer billing issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create monthly billing reports to be distributed to sales and finance.
Assist with the monthly billing close process.
Process monthly invoices and distribute in multiple formats; paper, electronic, EDI.
Help maintain an internal and external request email box and helpline number.
Work with multiple billing systems.
Reconcile client accounts.
Communicate with internal and external customers on billing resolutions.
Perform other functions as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue reporting areas
Superior written, verbal communication and customer service skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Telecommunications industry experience, to include working knowledge of overall process from contract-to order entry-to billing-to collection
Professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on a daily basis
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor ' s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
