As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the Afni inbound call center team dedicated to resolving customer issues in a prompt, professional and friendly manner while focusing on positive customer experiences.

In this entry level role, you will be fully trained to perform the following duties:
Build and maintain rapport with customers
Identify customer product and/or service needs
Review and update activity on accounts
Provide basic technical support
Promote and sell products and services
Attend training to update product knowledge
Requirements

High school diploma, GED or higher

Resolves inbound and makes outbound service calls regarding routine collateral protection insurance coverage questions, inquiries and/or problems on the status of insurance on loans made by borrowers/members, financial institutions and insurance agents by researching, verifying, updating loan insurance information and documenting the affected account's history file. 
Refers complex questions, problems or client complaints promptly and accurately to the appropriate resources to ensure customer satisfaction and product integrity. 
Assists in performing time-sensitive account maintenance before and after account processing cycles. 
Enters updates to pertinent insurance data from Document Management System or FAX into the computer system in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to department procedures.
Prepares, packages, and mails insurance policies, proof of insurance requests, and paid certificates to borrowers/members and financial institutions.
Performs other duties as required.
 
Minimum Requirements
 
Must have at least 6 months of data entry, in-bound, out-bound or other related call center, telemarketing or related experience. Insurance or banking experience preferred.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.
Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and telephone etiquette skills. 
Must have strong workflow and communication skills (both written and oral).
Must be able to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
Must be able to type 40 WPM accurately and operate a 10-key calculator by touch.

6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in a service related industry preferred(contact call center, retail, food service, telecommunications, etc.)
Computer proficiency, including web navigation
Strong communication skills
Adaptable to changing situations
You must be at least 18 years old to apply and pass drug screen, criminal background check, and comprehensive assessments during and after training.
