QUALIFICATIONS:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California and appropriate nursing/practice/experience.

BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Conscious Sedation competencies required.

Has the ability to read, speak, and write English in order to perform the duties of the position.

Work a flexible schedule and be willing to work additional hours if needed for the provision of quality patient care.

Will demonstrate current competencies and certifications required by each specific department.

Demonstrates an understanding of Perianesthesia nursing.

Ability to: Work as a team member to meet team goals and objectives. Work effectively under multiple demands and adjust priorities, as circumstance requires meeting nursing/staffing needs of the department. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and precision on a consistent basis in the performance of nursing procedures. Treat co-workers, physicians, patients, families, visitors, and the public with dignity and respect. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all hospital staff. Maintain patient confidentiality.
