How do I make a difference?




Providing Incredible, Knowledge Based Customer Service
  • Proactively approach customers, assist them in locating products and answer any questions they might have, and direct specific healthcare-related questions to a pharmacist
  • Seek to expand personal knowledge about products and practices in the department and share acquired knowledge with customers to better assist them


Ensuring High Quality Products & Ingredients
  • Work with team members to maintain the overall appearance of the department; unload deliveries, ensure product levels are sustained and be sure products are well merchandised in eye-appealing displays to promote items and drive sales
  • Check the expiration date on product to ensure the health and safety of customers, take part in the expiration date program, properly dispose of medical products in the department every 4 months and check for damaged or misplaced products and properly record or reshop these items
  • Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines and Simplification 5S procedures

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
  • Knowledge of health and beauty care products


Work Environment
  • Work involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment
  • Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching, kneeling and occasional heavy lifting
  • Responsible for moving and lifting an average of 5 – 15 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely
  • May be exposed to various allergens
  • Will be required to spend the majority of time on his or her feet and stand or walk without a break for up to 4 hours
