About this job
We are currently hiring for a 3rd Shift Printing Press Associate in Ripon, WI. This person would start out as a Press Helper to work side by side with the Press Operator assisting with the machine operations. There is potential for this position to grow into a Press Operator down the road as well.
Job Duties:
-Assist the operator in setting up the Press
-Stage materials
-Feed press
-Assist in clean-up after each job
-Work closely with the Press Operator to ensure efficiency in production
Hours: 3rd shift; 12 hour shifts and the hours are 7:00pm to 7:00am (would work a few days, and then have a few days off)
Pay: $10 to $12 per hour
Qualifications:
-Must have at least 1 year Machine Operation experience (previous Press experience is preferred but not required)
-A high mechanical aptitude
-Basic math skills
-Able to work 12 hour shifts
-Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
-Able to work well with others and take direction from the Press Operator
-Willingness to work hard and learn the production processes to grow into the next role
