Diesel Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Diesel Power Equipment takes on any job from a lawnmower to railroad cars. They are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, has good work ethic and work history, positive attitude and a sense of urgency. They will be doing everything from preventative maintenance to overhauls to field service work. They provide additional training on site.
MUST HAVES:
- Diesel engine rebuild, overhaul experience, or electrical generator background
- Industrial diesel engine troubleshooting experience
- Own their own hand tools (they will supply specialized tools)
- Knowledge of diagnostic theories for repair and be able to describe the failure
- Create service reports
- Open to travel 50% of the time

PLUSES:
- Experience with Deutz, Volvo, CAT, Cummins, John Deere, or Diesel, caterpillars, engines.
- Lead experience, directing a small team of mechanics
- Training experience or shop management experience
- Electronic diagnostics.
