High school graduate or equivalent. CDL required. Prior supervisory experience. Knowledgeable of RSS.
Requires physical strength and dexterity to walk, stand, bend, climb, reach, stoop, twist and lift/carry 100 pounds. Vision, hearing and speech essential. Hand coordination to use computer. May require a valid drivers license. Job requires contact with hazardous materials and drive/travel and work in adverse weather conditions. Job Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Supervises warehouse personnel and operations, including warehouse, bulk fertilizer, grain operations and truck operations.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Supervises warehouse operation, including warehouse and truck personnel in AA and AAA retail locations.
2. Responsible for milling, bulk fertilizer, seed cleaning, and tucking operations and the maintenance of same equipment.
3. Makes sales to customers.
4. Responsible for seeing that patrons' orders are filled and deliveries are made properly.
5. Supervises and assists in warehousing of merchandise.
6. Responsible for checking incoming and outgoing merchandise and checks both billings and receivings.
7. Orders inventory and helps build displays.
8. Does field solicitation work and other jobs in the store or field as assigned by immediate supervisor.
9. Assists in taking inventory.
10. Adheres to Southern States No Tolerance Policy on Safety and Equipment.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
