About this job
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social work or Marriage and Family Therapy. Prefer incumbent to be licensed, license-eligible, or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Experience: Social Worker requires a minimum of ONE (1) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills must have strong clinical assessment skills.
License: LCSW, LMFT, license-eligible, or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred..
Additional Requirements: CPR certification is required (training available in-house.) Handle With Care training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a department competency exam upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
