Joppa, MD - Macy's Logistics: Seasonal ICQA Warehouse Associate

Job Overview:

Macy's state-of-the-art direct-to-consumer fulfillment center is currently seeking talented individuals to fill ICQA Warehouse associate positions. ICQA Warehouse Associates work on an on-call basis, as needed for daytime and weekend shifts. Essential Functions:

• Ability to key accurately and productively using PC's, hand-held computers or other such devices.
• Physically count, move boxes, and use lifts to accurately perform cycle counts of warehouse items if necessary.
• Provide feedback on inventory issues to supervisor and/or management
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
• Operate powered equipment as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to conveyor lockout procedures.
• Work on elevated platforms and conveyor systems.
• Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required
  

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• Safety Conscious.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Team Player.
• Ability to understand and communicate directions in the FC regarding Standard Operating Procedures and security & safety guidelines.
• Meet accuracy and productivity standards.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• If operating powered equipment, have the ability to be trained and work at heights.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use multiple radio frequency devices, i.e. hand held scanners
• Work Hours: Flexible with scheduling and available to nights and weekends.

Communication Skills

• Must be able to follow instructions and respond in English

Mathematical Skills

• Adds, subtracts, divides and multiplies in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals and fractions

Reasoning Ability

• Shows Initiative and Dependability
