Integrity Staffing Solutions is current recruiting for a CNC Machine Laser Operator for a temporary to hire opportunity. Other experience that can be considered is waterjet and/or press brake. This is currently a first shift opportunity with mandatory overtime. Position starts at $14+ an hour based on experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support all functions of the operation Operate machinery, gage and inspect parts as required Palletize finished parts and perform quality documentation sign-offs as required. Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance as required Support production operations by ensuring the smooth flow of material from operation to operation. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow company safety policies and procedures. Complete paperwork for quality documentation procedures. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Adhere to 5S practices maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment. Active involvement and support of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives. Implement, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of the company's quality management system. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education level: High School Diploma/GED Experience: IMP is a drug-free workplace. Employees must be able to pass a pre-employment, fit-for-duty physical including a drug screen. Basic computer skills. Mechanical skills/aptitude. Comfortable with the use of hand and power tools. Knowledge of CNC control system. Comfortable using calipers and other hand measuring tools. Understand drawings and general dimensional information. Load and unload machine using a hoist. Sort and palletize parts per instructions. Read tape measure to the 1/16th of 1 inch. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw/interpret bar graphs. Must be able to follow company safety and quality control policies and procedures. Must be a team player receptive to change and cross functional training. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including overtime. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
