An Assistant Chief Engineer with Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation and repair of all electrical, mechanical, grounds keeping, landscaping, pool/spa, roadways, architectural systems throughout the facility to insure safety and efficiency.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you would be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation and repair of all electrical, mechanical, grounds keeping, landscaping, pool/spa, roadways, architectural systems throughout the facility to insure safety and efficiency. Maintain the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Operate, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and conducts all required periodic and preventative maintenance on all engine-room equipment (i.e. boilers, chillers, pumps, electric motors, water softeners, electric generators, hot water generators, etc.). Keep and maintains accurate operation records and reports deficiencies for repair and parts.


 


Basic Qualifications


 


High School graduate or equivalent required. Five years of experience as journey mechanic or Engineer with a class A hotel company or related industry. Two years experience as a Supervisor or Manager in the same or similar environment.


Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, components, and devices, HVAC systems, boilers, mechanical systems, and the maintenance and repair of all. Excellent knowledge of public construction and building systems including all related permits, licensing, and new and existing codes pertaining to public and fire safety.  Skilled in the use of computers and software programs.


Skilled in the proper and safe use of all tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, and products. Excellent English verbal, written, and communication skills.
