Sodexo Campus Services is seeking a Catering Manager 3 for our food service operations at Ripon College, located in Ripon, WI. We offer innovative menu selections and superior service in our resident dining halls and retail venues and community catering program. This position will be recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for front-line personnel within the account. The ideal candidate will possess: high-end operations experience, strong leadership capabilities, a customer service focus, financial skills, labor management, food costing skills, commitment to safety, and creativity. Strong catering experience preferred.

Founding Ripon College, founded in 1851, was converted from a college preparatory school to a four-year college in 1863. Its first class, four women --- Luthera H. Adams, Harriet H. Brown, Susan A.W. Saulsbury and Mary F. Spencer --- was graduated in 1867.

Location The College is located in the historic city of Ripon, Wisconsin --- a friendly, safe community of 7,733 people, 80 miles northwest of Milwaukee, 70 miles southwest of Green Bay, 73 miles northeast of Madison, 180 miles northwest of Chicago and 255 southeast of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Position Summary

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
