About this job
The Golf Operations Management Trainee will be responsible for assisting both the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents in all aspects of golf course maintenance. Responsibilities include performing and overseeing Bentgrass greens management, moisture management, crew management, labor tracking, record keeping, fertilizer & chemical application, and irrigation/drainage management. The duration of the management training program is usually between 9-12 months after which the trainee should be ready for the Assistant Superintendent role.
Requirements:
4 year degree in Agronomy/Turfgrass Management or similar field required. Previous golf course maintenance experience required, strong communication skills are essential, fluency in Spanish preferred.
