The Local Retailer Sales Channel has been a key contributor to DISH’ success and has helped propel DISH to the Fortune 200 company that it is today. This Sales Channel is responsible for partnering with authorized DISH retailers and developing go to market strategies that will increase our retailer’s production and profitability.  

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years supervisory/management experience
  • Responsible for managing the performance of exempt staff located across a wide territory
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • High level of computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and Siebel. 
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional 
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

DISH Network has an employment opportunity for individuals with energy, intellect, and the need to achieve as a Regional Sales Manager. The job responsibilities include:

  • Manages the sales activities, personnel, and customer satisfaction efforts for a region
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
  • Responsible for all hiring and development of Account Managers
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, KPI’s and performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Responsible for pursuing new business opportunities including but not limited to malls, events, state fairs, trade shows, etc with distributors, retailers and sales staff
