Janitor (3rd shift) - Full-time

Our Janitor is responsible for cleaning work facilities and maintaining an orderly work environment for employees. This is a permanent position that requires repetitive motion and long periods of standing and walking!

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse environment. Very fast-paced with high expectations for quality and efficiency.
• Willing to submit to zero tolerance drug test?
• Criminalbackground check: convicted of, or pled guilty or no contest to, a crime,      regardless of date, severity of circumstance, that has not been sealed,pardoned, dismissed, or expunged?
• Training      program is 3-4 days in a classroom environment, followed by one month extremely hands on:
• • Employees must have a willingness and desire to learn, as our environment is technical , fast-paced and ever changing. We are a production based      environment and there are production metrics associated with the job. DISH holds its employees to high standards for attendance, quality and      productivity.
  • Must be willing to ask questions!

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, restrooms, and office space.
• Empties trash containers into appropriate dumpsters.
• Replaces restroom supplies and trash container bags when necessary. 
• Notifies supervisor when replacement supplies and equipment are needed.
• Notifies management when facility repairs are needed
• Cautions employees on safety risks, e.g. wet floors, etc.
• Other duties as required.

• Dress code is casual. Jeans and shorts must meet certain length and color requirements. Athletic shoes or work boots are required. Heels are not permitted. For shirts, no tank tops, no sleeveless shirts, no low cut shirts or exposed midriff. Hats are only permitted on Fridays.
