Maintenance Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 6 years experience within the last 10 years in which 3 years were spent producing new or replacement parts for making repairs of metal parts on or in mechanical or structural equipment or components, while employing accumulated experience in machine shop practices. 3 years of of this experience must have been spent in fabricating and shaping metal components using standard machine op lathes, milling machines, and drilling equipment. Must be able to select standard materials and compute related dimensions required for this type of work. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience within the last 10 years is required in the interpretation of blueprint layouts, mechanical drawings, or diagrams while assisting in the development of parts or structures to be utilized in the installation of engineering changes and/or ShipAlts of Navy or similar vessels.
