Business Systems Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

A top client of ours in San Antonio, TX is seeking multiple Business Systems Analysts to join their team for contract opportunities with possible long-term extensions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE OF PROJECT:
- Serves as liaison between the CFO Group and Clients Technical Teams.
- Meets with business end users to understand business processes.
- Analyzes results of testing to ensure solution matches the documented business need.
- Coordinates/Participates in User Acceptance Testing and ensures test cases are completely tested and signed off on by appropriate project team members.
-Utilize understanding of technology, business processes, accounting/finance, and financial systems to accomplish improvement goals.
- Leads projects of all sizes from beginning to end, as assigned.
- Serves as a product owner for the financial applications in use by CFO Group.
- Manages system conversions, implementations, business process design, and other special projects for the CFO Group, as assigned.
- May serve as mentor to other analysts.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of business operations to create requirements for development/process change.
- Expert project management, business analysis skills, and process improvement skills
- Advanced accounting knowledge
- Gathers and documents functional, system, and data requirements.
- Responsible for meeting timelines and objectives as specified by the project.
- Creates detailed process diagrams and business requirement documents as discussed with the business end users.
- Uses business requirements and business process knowledge to create detailed use cases, user stories, and test scenarios
- Ability to communicate technical information and ideas both verbally and written so others will understand.
- Process Improvement experience required.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Advanced working knowledge of Oracle EBS or BRM accounting or related technology is desirable.
- Desired understanding of General Ledger, Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Order to Cash Process.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
- 10+ years of experience in the areas of business analysis.
